The packaging consists of a recycled cardboard exterior in the shape of a regular detergent bottle and contains a flexible plastic bag on the inside where the detergent is filled. The bottle still has a twist-off plastic lid but uses 66% less plastic than conventional laundry bottles. When empty, the bottle can be ripped in half and recycled with newspapers and the plastic bag is recyclable in many cities, too.
