Better Energy Systems (BES) produces portable, solar rechargeable power and lighting devices under the “Solio” brand. The product suite includes three hand-held, universal hybrid solar chargers for mobile phones or portable electronic devices as well as a solar-powered LED flashlight. The company sells through retailers such as REI, Apple, MEC and Radio Shack. In 2012 three new products were launched and revenues grew over 2011.
